Groups Page Custom Colors Help
|
Groups can set custom colors for their main Group page. This help page outlines what
SciFi Section Group Owners can do with their Groups.
There are several different ways of selecting custom colors. You may utilize one or several of the following methods:
Graphics Color Change
From the Group Setup page, under Page Color (Logos and Border Lines), there
is a drop down list. Selecting one of the colors will change all of the standard graphics on your Group page to the specified color.
Custom Colors
This section allows you to set some standard colors, backgrounds, and images throughout your Group page. All colors must be in one of two
formats:
#123456 where 123456 is the hex color code. The # sign is required.
an html accepted color such as black, red, white, etc.
Specific Definitions for Custom Group Colors
Background
Color - Sets the background color of the page outside of the Group border lines.
Image URL - Sets an image for the background, outside of the Group border lines. MUST be in the format http://url.com/image.jpg
Page Color (Logos and Border Lines)
Color - A drop down list that sets the graphical colors of the profile.
Line Color - The color of lines on the Group page
Divider Color - The color of [, ], and | symbols throughout the Group page.
Forms and Text Boxes
Form Color - The border color of forms, text boxes, input boxes, and buttons on the page.
Form Background Color - The background color for all forms, text boxes, input boxes, and buttons.
Header Menu - The 1st window on the page.
Background Color - The background color of the header menu section.
Background Image URL - A background image can be set for the header menu section. Must be in http:// url format.
Link Color - The color of all links in the header menu.
Status Menu - The box within the Header Menu that displays user information.
Background Color - The background color of the status menu section.
Background Image URL - A background image can be set for the status menu section. Must be in http:// url format.
Text Color - The color of all text in the status menu.
Link Color - The color of all links in the status menu.
Navigation Menu - The 2nd window on the page.
Background Color - The background color of the navigation menu section.
Background Image URL - A background image can be set for the navigation menu section. Must be in http:// url format.
Text Color - The color of all text in the navigation menu.
Link Color - The color of all links in the navigation menu.
Menu Link Color - The color of menu links in the navigation menu (Message Center, Friends, etc.)
Menu Link Background Color - The background color of menu links in the navigation menu.
Group Navigation Menu - The navigation menu for your Group, within the middle page section.
Font Color - The main font color of the section.
Option Menu Font Color - The font color of the Custom Page drop down list.
Option Border Color - The border color of the Custom Page drop down list.
Option Background Color - The background color of the Custom Page drop down list.
Description Area - The 3rd window on the page.
Background Color - The background color of the description area.
Background Image URL - A background image can be set for the description area. Must be in http:// url format.
Text Color - The color of all text in the description area.
Link Color - The color of all links in the description area.
Border Color - The color of border lines in the description area.
Footer Menu - The 4th window on the page.
Background Color - The background color of the footer menu section.
Background Image URL - A background image can be set for the footer menu section. Must be in http:// url format.
Text Color - The color of all text in the footer menu.
Link Color - The color of all links in the footer menu.
Final Notes
When specifying html colors, transparent is a valid color.
