Message me about:

I have music here because this is the way I like it, my profile... if you were to walk in my home, this is how it would be, so why not here? If you don't like it, well you can make sure you don't do what I do in your 'home'/profile. Just don't expect me to be anything other than myself here- I don't follow anyone's profile customizing ethics but my own.
Who can explain themselves best? I guess, the person that knows who they are, best. But profiles shouldn't be about a contest, they should be about what we choose to share. I may not woo you with poetic trails of amazing word compilations, but I am still a writer. I'll woo some :) I tell stories. I tell them in my personal style. They aren't for everyone, but they are mine.
I only like mystery to a certain extent, then I'd rather know a little. I'm not so big on needing to analyze a writer's words. I appreciate clarity and simplicity, with a tinge of secret and frosting. I'm still spicey, I like variety. So Whitman, Yeats, Silverstein, and Nash are my people.
I think magic is more fun when it isn't real. If it's real, then it's normal, it's blah, no appeal for me.
I'm very average and always dreaming of not being so. I like people that like people like me. And I like people that I can never be. They keep me dreaming.
Lagniappe is a very personal project. If you check out the profile, you will see why. When I was House Master of Eternal, it was still valid... but now, it is the only society on Vampire Rave that I am at the helm (this is my second profile here). So, it is special. Inside the coven you will find very special people to me. It is small, but what we have is a wonderful crowd. If you have a passion or interest in New Orleans- and you prefer to be around people with common sense and mental stability, consider this society :) Or, just deal with the forced induction as you are on a vampire-themed website here... if you don't like vampire themes, I'm not sure why you have a membership. Vampiric happenings 'round these here parts shouldn't be an oddity or unthinkable- it should be obvious and ALL AROUND YOU.
I joined Vampire Rave prior to the implementation of the Societies. The House of Lunazure was my first home, where I served as Assistant House Master under ElderDaniel. Five months later, I was promoted to Master Vampire and took over House Eternal. I/we had a vision of a true team spirit, and a comfortable, inviting atmosphere. As that team, we succeeded.
I welcomed the opportunity to become a Regent, because I would not have to 'leave' House Eternal. In this capacity, I am here to help anyone in need within the scope of this position.

I am 110% supportive of this effort. This is what this community is all about (The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory), and why I came here. I'm glad someone is devoting so much time to this project, and the man that brought the word 'vampire', through inspiration, to the world's vocabulary.
In my personal life, I am very busy, serious student of Theology (I'm an Episcopalian- spiritually liberal, but my views are way broader than this), and a stay at home mom that is very active in her son's life. I am a writer, a music lover to a degree matched only by people like Adam Sandler (just listen to his soundtracks), and a dreamer beyond anyone I have ever met. Don't let any of that fool you- I am well-versed in plenty of things associated with the goth world.
I am from California, I spent 8 years in the United States Marine Corps (1992-2000, Sergeant), and I have a pointy tongue.
I am not your average Vampire Rave member- but people like me may become far more abundant with the advent of Power Punks. I am totally Generation X, totally un-goth in the sense of appearance... and, I am TOTALLY cool with that. I'm just, whatever I want to be at that time. I am proud of having been a child of the 70s and 80s. Journey is my favorite musical group of all time, and not for the sappy girl reasons of 'Faithfully' and 'Open Arms'.
I enjoy American TV channels like A&E (American Justice, Investigative Reports, Cold Case Files), Biography, History, and National Geographic. I'm not into any kind of 'dark' lifestyle with the exception of figuring out my own/our own personal, very human darkness. I'm currently a huge fan of the A&E series, "The Cleaner" starring Benjamin Bratt.
The top four countries I would love to spend substantial time in are: Australia, New Zealand, Wales, and Germany. Australia, so many reasons... and I will get to those reasons soon enough. Until I can physically go, I hang out in:

I play World Of Warcraft and love the hell out of it. I have no issues sharing that with you. Many people think WoW gamers are lame, but let me tell you something... this is a game that draws people in for a reason. The intricacies of it are far too vast to mention, the storyline is great, the quests are fun, and there's always something new to achieve. You really feel creative and imaginative when you play. It's like your favorite movie, only you are building it, and it never has to end. Not everyone who plays is a dude living in his parent's basement eating Hot Pockets and not getting any dates. Many people are families, white collar workers, celebrities... just like vampires- we're all around you :P My *main* toon is a Level 80 Night Elf Death Knight.
I am not really that hard to know, I journal here a TON. If you are interested... it's all easy to find.
I came here, because I dig the legendary, mythological vampire. I'm a fictional vampire enthusiast. I've been a fan as long as I can remember. Dracula, Anne Rice, White Wolf, Twilight, Moonlight, True Blood, The Vampire Diaries, you name it- I'm in. We can thank a 'Kindred: The Embraced' fansite for linking to Vampire Rave, and leading me here :) It's a very rare occasion that I don't like a vampire depiction in film or literature. I like them all because I respect a writer's freedom and I love hearing new ideas and creative renditions. Writers need not have boundaries, and when you're talkin' vampires... they shouldn't allow anyone to put limits on their imagination. Vampires after all and above all, parallel very real humanity- and humans are always surprising.

I have a list of people I consider really good friends here, and some I have 'known' longer than others. Miz, Sahahria, and Mr. D are the people I consider way up there. This doesn't degrade my other friendships- I've just been talking with these guys the longest, and our conversations go beyond just shooting the breeze. If I go for too long without speaking to any one of them, I start to feel out of whack.
I have a healthy respect for God and His plan- I know He knows better than I do for the big picture of mankind... but clearly, clearly he did not ask for my opinion on this plan. He could not have- because He didn't make Flannery my daughter. She's an awesome person to know. If you can appreciate Flannery, I can appreciate you. Check her profile out and let's see how you and I will jive:
